Mi Casa - Providing affordable housing opportunities in DC and Baltimore to foster healthy, diverse and thriving neighborhoods

Capital Area Food Bank

Capital Area Food Bank - Aquiring and distributing food to 12% of the DC population who suffer from hunger and its companion problems of undernutrition, heart disease and obesity. EJF conducts annual non-perishable food drives in EJF-managed association buildings.

So Others Might Eat (SOME)

So Others Might Eat (SOME) - Provides food, clothing and shelter for DC’s homeless population, in addition to treating illnesses and providing job training.

Facing Our Risk of Cancer (FORCE)

Facing Our Risk of Cancer (FORCE) - Improving the lives of individuals and families affected by hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.

Second Chance

Second Chance - Supporting the environment by deconstructing buildings and homes, salvaging the materials and making them available for reuse to the public. With the revenue generated, they provide job training and sustainable employment to those in need

Charcot Marie Tooth Association (CMTA) - Working for a cure and providing support to children and adults affected by the most common inherited peripheral neuropathy in the world. Many in our EJF family are afflicted by this incurable disease
